About UMA

United Mediation and Arbitration (UMA ADR) helps individuals, families, and businesses resolve disputes through private, structured dialogue. At the heart of our process are neutrals, trained professionals who do not represent either party and do not provide legal advice. Instead, they guide both sides through productive conversations, helping participants find common ground and reach enforceable agreements.

Mediation through UMA is confidential and voluntary. Our role is to facilitate, not to advocate. While neutrals are often attorneys or retired judges with deep knowledge of the legal system, they do not act as legal counsel for either side. Participants are always encouraged to consult their own attorney at any point in the process.
