Civil Mediation

Resolve Civil Disputes Privately, Peacefully, and Affordably

Faster, Fairer, and More Affordable Mediation

Resolve Conflicts Without Court

At UMA ADR we believe conflict does not always need to end in court. Civil mediation gives people a smarter way forward. It is faster, less stressful, and much more affordable than traditional litigation.

Our mediators create a private setting where both sides are heard and where practical solutions can be reached. Instead of waiting years for a trial, parties can sit down with one of our mediators and resolve their dispute in a matter of hours.

Why Mediation

Why People Choose Mediation

Court cases often take years, cost thousands of dollars, and leave the outcome in the hands of a judge. Mediation puts the decision back where it belongs, in the hands of the people involved.

What We Offer

With UMA ADR You Can Expect:

Our Mediation Process

Getting Started

We begin with a simple intake where we review the dispute and assign a mediator who fits the case.

Scheduling

Sessions are held by Zoom for convenience and privacy, although in person meetings can be arranged.

The Session

The mediator starts with a short introduction and then moves into private meetings with each side. The mediator goes back and forth, listening, clarifying, and exploring solutions. All conversations remain confidential.

Resolution

When the parties reach an agreement we put it in writing. This agreement can be submitted to the court and made legally binding if needed.

Types of Civil Disputes We Handle

Our mediators assist with many different matters, including:

Business and contract disputes

Real estate and property issues

Landlord and tenant matters

Construction disagreements

Professional or partnership breakups

Consumer and warranty claims

Insurance coverage
disputes

Fees and Format

Mediators typically charge an hourly rate per party. Both sides share the cost equally. Sessions are usually scheduled in three hour blocks, but more time can be added for complex cases. We provide a clear quote before the session begins so there are no surprises.

Working With the Courts

Many courts now encourage or require mediation before a case can move forward. UMA ADR makes sure our mediators meet the requirements for local court rosters. Whether you are coming to mediation voluntarily or by court order, you can trust that your mediator is approved and qualified.

Why UMA ADR

We are building a national network of mediators who combine legal knowledge with practical problem solving. Our focus is on efficiency, fairness, and results that last. We use technology to make the process easy, with Zoom based sessions and digital document sharing, while still keeping the personal touch that makes mediation effective.

Take the Next Step

If you are in a dispute, you do not need to wait for it to get worse. Civil mediation through UMA ADR gives you the chance to resolve the matter privately, quickly, and on your own terms.
